Jones 5 101 0 48 St. Johnson 8 94 1 33 F. Jackson 5 87 0 38 D. Nelson 6 84 0 26 A question from Nick Mendola: "When was the last time a Bills wide-out had a touchdown in each of the first three games of a season? We’ve gotta be at Moulds or even Reed/Lofton. I emailed the Bills. Same question for tight ends and Scott Chandler." I know a lot of fans were upset by the Evans trade and only getting a 1st rounder, but IMO, it was the right move. Evans has been hurt since the preseason and didn't play today. Can you imagine both Evans & Parrish out for the Bills today?
Malazan Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Can you imagine both Evans & Parrish out for the Bills today? Yes, I can. The receiving corp would look pretty much the same as it did..
dayman Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 WRs are better w/ out Evans. It's clear to me.
JPS Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 That is some stat. I can't remember the last QB we had to support such good receiving stats.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Jones was key today; great game by him.
BillsWatch Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I know a lot of fans were upset by the Evans trade and only getting a 1st rounder, but IMO, it was the right move. I think you meant 4th.
Phlegm Alley Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Jones was key today; great game by him. He redeemed himself after that big drop that deflected off of him into Arrington's hands, which lead to the 2nd TD for the Patriots today.

I agree. I didn't get what the coaches saw in Jones, but he had a very good game yesterday. Hopefully he continues to develop and becomes an additional playmaker on this offense.
