WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I know people dismissed the Raiders after last week. I hope they don't take our win for granted now and, even better, the Bills now lead the AFC East. Overall, I can't think of a better way for things to fall for the Bills.
BuffOrange Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 The Raiders' beatdown of the Jests puts our win in perspective. We held off a pretty good football team, and held McFadden in check. The more I see these results, the better our performance looks thus far. I don't know, it's too early to play the "common opponents" game. For example, NE needing a zillion Chargers mistakes to win at home looks pretty bad now after SD squeaked by KC at home today.... It will just make your head spin thinking about all this stuff after 3 weeks... I think most people knew this Oakland team was pretty solid. From where I sit even before today, the Jets are just a grossly overrated football team. That's not to say they're not good or that they're clearly inferior to the Bills. But these power rankings that had them #3, give me a break. They won a plethora of flukey games last year, which continued this yr in week 1 when they were beaten up by the Cowboys in every phase of the game except special teams.
Wacka Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 When The Jests came up short for a TD, Gary Papa (old timers remember him), the Raiders play-by-play man said Sanchez came up short by aTed's hot dog!

Wacka Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I hear him all the time, living in the bay area, and for some reason I screwed the name.
Bill from NYC Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I just hope Sanchez doesn't get hurt, I so badly want to see him self-destruct in front of a hostile Bills crowds . . . it will be like wolves on the smell of blood :D :D
