#34fan Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Just a concerned fan. Hate to see our guys on stretchers.
KD in CA Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) Bump....I don't recall them mentioning him again during the game. Any locals have any info? Edited September 25, 2011 by KD in CT
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Agreed. Thought that might be the pivot point of the game but more importantly, i like the guy and hope he's ok.
Chas56 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Same. Hope he's okay. His family needs him, and we need him.
truth on hold Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Someone said they saw him moving. I didn't. Sure hope they're right
#34fan Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 Guy left it all out there today. I'm pulling for him.
CSBill Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I saw somewhere they said a chest injury, not good, but if true, much better than a head or spine issue . . . I hope it's so
HurlyBurly51 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 X-rays came back negative, per 97 Rock.
Simon Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Someone said they saw him moving. I didn't. Sure hope they're right They were stabilizing his head right before they went to a commercial and nobody realized there was even a guy down. I did see him moving his leg(s) for a sec right before they brought the stretcher out.
Chimp Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 They quoted Gailey as saying his injury wasn't serious on the post Game show. No link but it is still on WBEN 930.
Beerball Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 They quoted Gailey as saying his injury wasn't serious on the post Game show. No link but it is still on WBEN 930. Thanks!
Simon Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 They quoted Gailey as saying his injury wasn't serious on the post Game show. No link but it is still on WBEN 930. Sweet. I'd guess he was stunned by a particularly nasty stinger and the medical staff was just being very protective
DanInUticaTampa Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 What was the exact injury? I can't find anything online that isn't vague. I haven't heard the press conferences yet either. I am guessing it was like a back injury? any word on how he is doing?
boyst Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 What was the exact injury? I can't find anything online that isn't vague. I haven't heard the press conferences yet either. I am guessing it was like a back injury? any word on how he is doing? I would like to know, also. Was listening to the game and they said that he had full leg movement, and waved to the crowd as he was carted off so I am curious? Maybe just a bad stinger?
Huuuge Bills Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 It's a chest injury, and x-rays were negative. (heard the update on the radio, so no link.)
DanInUticaTampa Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 yeah, he waved, but he couldn't sit up. Not even sure how it happened. I saw mckelvin fall on him, but it didn't look like he hit his head or his body moved in an odd motion. I would have thought they would have given an update during the game, but I was in a bar, so there really wasn't much sound to hear if they did update it. I almost find it a bad sign that there are no reports on it. hope he is ok. I loved it when they picked him. It's a chest injury, and x-rays were negative. (heard the update on the radio, so no link.) thanks!
Doc Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 He can have the week off. It's just the Bungles.
Special K Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 It's a chest injury, and x-rays were negative. (heard the update on the radio, so no link.) I thought it looked like a broken collarbone from the way he landed....glad to hear the X-rays were negative.
#34fan Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 X-rays came back negative, per 97 Rock. Thanks! Negative is sounding mighty good for once. Hope he makes a full recovery.
UConn James Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Peter King just said on NBC the spot in question was in the chest/shoulder area and that the X-rays were negative.
