Bills!Win! Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 That was the worst feeling ever! I had a flashback of the McKelvin fumble. I thought the Patriots were going to drive down 95 yards and score in under 1 minute.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 It was, but seeing Fitz hold up the ball and then seeing the flag...that made it allllllllll better.
DaveinElma Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 I had a flashback of the McKelvin fumble. I thought the Patriots were going to drive down 95 yards and score in under 1 minute. yeah I was thinking that there was going to be a new way for the Bills to lose horribly to the Pats!
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I think I had a stroke when that happened. Conditioned response to a multitude of heartbreaking losses.
aristocrat Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I had a flashback of the McKelvin fumble. I thought the Patriots were going to drive down 95 yards and score in under 1 minute. I believe they would have had they actually recovered that. Is that reverse hindsight? This is like 180 deg opposite of last year!
RayFinkle Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 That actaully didnt worry me. The announcers tried to play it up, but Fitz clearly took and knee and then was washed over in a waved of humanity. He had already taken the knee.
clayboy54 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I believe they would have had they actually recovered that. Is that reverse hindsight? This is like 180 deg opposite of last year! His knees (both of them) were down with the ball in his arms. It did scare me, but Gannon made way more of it than was called for on the b'dcast. It worked out so who cares anymore.
/dev/null Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 After that seeming fumble, undergarments across western new york were soiled in mass
jwolf02 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 That actaully didnt worry me. The announcers tried to play it up, but Fitz clearly took and knee and then was washed over in a waved of humanity. He had already taken the knee. +1

The announcers tried to play it up, but Fitz clearly took and knee and then was washed over in a waved of humanity. He had already taken the knee. And.............isn't that a penalty when you hit a QB after he's clearly down?
CSBill Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 That was the worst feeling ever! fortunately for my health, I couldn't see it very well on my computer screen . . . if it had been, it would have been another epic boner. But these Bills are different, just different.
/dev/null Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 And.............isn't that a penalty when you hit a QB after he's clearly down? It's a penalty for 31 teams. Fair play for the Pats*
KD in CA Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) And.............isn't that a penalty when you hit a QB after he's clearly down? Yes....and they called one. Or was that the play before when they called the PF? That whole sequence was like a low moving heart attack. . Edited September 25, 2011 by KD in CT
RayFinkle Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 And.............isn't that a penalty when you hit a QB after he's clearly down? Yep...they didnt call it which was insane.
GOBILLS78 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 That entire sequence was a cluster eff.
Talley56 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 That actaully didnt worry me. The announcers tried to play it up, but Fitz clearly took and knee and then was washed over in a waved of humanity. He had already taken the knee. This The Pats were being complete and udder sorry sports during those kneel downs. Especially on the next play when Fitz was blatantly knocked over well after kneeling down.
Thoner7 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I saw him take the knee without dropping it so I knew he was down with it. F the Pats for hitting fitz on the following snap. Fagg raf shoulda thrwe another flag.
CardinalScotts Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I thought once he kneels it's play over he doesn't have to stay there and take a shot from the opponent. Weird ending- bs refs - despite all of that garbage 3-0 !!! Gotta get the Bengals
