thewildrabbit Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Watching the NFL Today with Charley Casserly and talking about Fitz's contact He states Fitzscreamy is only making around 3.2 million this year and if the Buffalo Bills want to keep him for next season they would need to franchise tag him, and it will be for one year at between 14-15 million dollars.. A comparable player Kevin Cobb got 11 mill a year and over 20 mil guaranteed, Casserly thinks Fitz is a better player Anyway, so what will Fitz do? sign a new contract this year or wait until the end of the season? I've heard the Bills already made him a contract offer and he turned it down. Winning comes at a price, will you know who pay up? or will they let him walk and draft a rookie?
Scrappy Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Right now might not be the time to discuss this.
OldTimer1960 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Right now might not be the time to discuss this. Yeah, he might want to take whatever they offered right about now. On the other hand, the Bills' might want to pull that offer off the table.
