BillsBiker Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 c'mon bills! ur feelin it now. Take that momentum into the locker room
Beerball Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 Well I didn't think we had a chance to beat these jackwagons; my hope was that we could stay within 2 scores and be competitive. It's still not pretty but I'm much happier than I was an hour ago. Heavy dose of Freddy after the half, get a score & go from there.
bladiebla Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 We are still very much in this, Defense is going to be key. Get a TD on that first possesion and anything can happen. Terrible start by the team again though and again we're looking to get going at the end of the second quarter.
capetide Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 agreed Geez, I thought it was because he had a timeout to waste with no time on the clock. Was was he gonna do, save it for next week?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Unfortunately he's still phat as well. true
John Cocktosten Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 The one attribute that the Bills have lacked for years now is resilience. They found it.
truth on hold Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 agreed I love how chan gets it you need to keep pressure on the defense by committing to big plays. Jauron had no clue
DrFishfinder Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Belli trying the bogus icing move before half tells me es very concerned with bills come back As far as icing the kicker, Belli blew that one. That was Jaronesque.
ny33 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 In other news, take a look at the scores and stats of some of the other games. The Giants are beating Philly; Minnesota is blowing out Detroit; Cam Newton is playing poorly; and Brees is playing poorly. We're not necessarily worse than the (very strong) Lions, and Fitzpatrick looks like a legit top-5 QB so far, with Stafford, Newton, Vick, and Brees all having significantly worse games.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Geez, I thought it was because he had a timeout to waste with no time on the clock. Was was he gonna do, save it for next week? How's the weather on Cape Cod today?
Jim in Anchorage Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I have been waiting since we lost Bryce Paup to find my favorite player in the NFL... #22 FJ it is! Just thought the same thing Fred! Belli trying the bogus icing move before half tells me es very concerned with bills come back Nah. Can't save em. Use it.
truth on hold Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) Geez, I thought it was because he had a timeout to waste with no time on the clock. Was was he gonna do, save it for next week? Belli knows hes dealing with a smart cookie in chan, that hes seen things. Confident coach doesn't bother with icing before half on a 38 yarder. This should be a balls out 2nd half Edited September 25, 2011 by Joe_the_6_pack
JOE IN HAMPTON ROADS Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Down 11 going into the half . . . second half is our best game . . . this is very doable. We have to get at Brady. Merriman came close but we need to go in and put Brady on the turf. I see pressure on Brady that as the key to the game. Looking forward to seeing what adjustments Chan makes after the half.
Virgil Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Drops are gonna happen and hopefully we got them out of our system. OLine looks good Interceptions hurt, but with a opening drive score, we can make that hurt minimal. Need to blitz more. We aren't getting any pressure with our from 3 or 4 and man isn't really slowing them down. Drop into zone and put a hit on Brady. Run the ball more. Keep Brady and the tempo of the Pats off the field. It ain't over yet
bizell Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) my feed went out on the scott interception; what happened on that play? edit: nevermind, highlight came up on nfl.com Edited September 25, 2011 by bizell
Beerball Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 See the conditions in Carolina? Field is a swamp!
San Jose Bills Fan Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 The Cheaters* played near flawlessly knowing that they had to bury us to have a chance. They didn't bury us. They gave us their best shot and we're still standing. Let's see what we do on the opening drive. Against the cheating Cheaters*. We'll have to outplay them by a wide margin because the refs are gonna continue to side with the Cheaters*.
Estelle Getty Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 the refs r spotting the ball like a bunch of d$hits
flmike Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Our DBs are not good enough to cover their big receivers. More pass rush. Don't give them time to get down field.
Beerball Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 my feed went out on the scott interception; what happened on that play? Ball went through the ne* receivers hands, Scott made a nice play for the diving INT off the deflection. Some giving of the business, but we didn't get to see any of that.
