Rubes Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 The potential excuses for losing are rapidly disappearing.
truth on hold Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) I wonder if pats play more 3-4 zone on sunday now Edited September 25, 2011 by Joe_the_6_pack
Rubes Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I wonder if pats play more 3-4 zone on sunday now Sounds good to me. I think our offense is very good at exploiting zone defenses.
DrDawkinstein Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 The potential excuses for losing are rapidly disappearing. Actually, sounds like the Evil One is a little scared and already manufacturing excuses for losing, himself.
truth on hold Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) Albert was supposedly the reason they went to 4-3(although I suspect wilforks unacknowledged decline had something to do with it). Our guys match up very well against their back up DBs if they want to play man. That's what I'm anticipating belli tries some 3 - 3 nickel formations. Edited September 25, 2011 by Joe_the_6_pack
Mike in Syracuse Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) Tomorrow's gameplan just got really simple. Do NOT let Welker take more than 2 steps without him getting hit in the mouth. Brady can't throw to him if he's looking at the sky. Edited September 25, 2011 by Mike in Syracuse
The Senator Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 It may get even better... Friday is decision day for Mesko* Hang time is a critical component of a punter’s job. The longer the ball is in the air, the better chance his coverage has of limiting the opponent’s return...But what’s up in the air in Foxborough* this Friday is Zoltan* Mesko’s* status* for Sunday’s AFC East showdown with the Buffalo Bills...They* reportedly worked out two veteran punters this week: Matt Dodge (formerly of the Giants) and Jeremy Kapinos (late of Pittsburgh). A final move might not be made until the weekend, but Mesko* stressed that Friday’s practice would be the determiner. Anyone see Zoltan* Mesko* at the airport? Does NE* have a punter this Sunday?

I guess the games I've watched must be from last year.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Very intriguing developments from the hood*
truth on hold Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) Wilfork's unacknowledged decline? Wow. I guess the games I've watched must be from last year. Hes not the same ferocious force. If you have a truly elite NT in 3-4 scheme then you play 3-4, case closed. I don't buy the bs coming out of NE the switch came from lack of LBs and that's why they got Albert. They got Albert because wilforks play at 3-4 NT dropped off IMO Edited September 25, 2011 by Joe_the_6_pack
The Senator Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Wilfork's unacknowledged decline? Wow. I guess the games I've watched must be from last year. Two ways to tell: 1) Were they* in a 4-3? 2) Who were they* playing? (If it wasn't the Dolphins or Chargers, then yeah, you were watching last year's games.)
Mike in Syracuse Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 What's more intriging is the fact that Belichick and the Patriots were heralded as geniuses because they got Haynesworth this offseason. If the drug arrest rumors are true they didn't know if they're not as smart as advertised.
r00tabaga Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Wait. So no Vollmer, no Koppen, no Haynesworth, no Chung, no Hernandez, no Price, Dan Gronkowski was cut AND their secondary is banged up? Oh yeah, AND their punter is ailing??? Wow, the Hoody is up to some trickery...trust me, somebody on this list is playing.
Dorkington Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I won't believe any of it until game time.
Cotton Fitzsimmons Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 @JasonLaCanfora Jason La Canfora Pats have ruled DL Albert Haynesworth and S Patrick Chung out for Sub YE OLE thought we would score on these guys with Haynesworth and Chung.
buffalonian Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 The potential excuses for losing are rapidly disappearing. Is Tom Brady out? No. Hence, the best "excuse" for losing does not exist. Haynesworth and Chung are after thoughts. The Pats go the way of Brady and the offense. If the Bills win it will be a great victory, regardles of who is playing for the opposition. Wait. Wait. So no Parish, Urbick, McGee, Easley, Evans... Welcome to the NFL.
