Record-low SAT scores a wake-up call

The article says that a "more diverse population" now takes the SATs and the scores went down.

 

When only the brightest took the SATs, because most kids had possible careers where college was not required, SATs were higher. Now tons of kids are trying to go to school--tons of kids means dumber kids are taking the SATs. Scores go down.

 

Not really surprising. Someone's filling classrooms at Temple and Buff State.

And let's not forget the real reason: The education "system" is an absolute failure. College classes today are the high school classes of 25 years ago.
