Funny... society is in for a treat in the coming years... When you figure the average grandparent has been born no earlier than the 1930's ... And that is pushing it to an old age. Prim and proper is longer gonna be the rule!

My mom was a partier. She's 85 now. There was someplace on the news burning (like every day in Buffalo) and she says I used to go drinking there. Then she rattled off about 2 dozen places she frequented. She then told us about her and her friends hitching across the Peace Bridge to get to Crystal Beach. Found out my godmother (my mother's friend for over 60 years) met her husband when they were waiting for a bus in front of the Warsaw Inn on Broadway at 1 in the morning and some guys pulled up to whistle at them.

My sister said that my mom was really partying it up when they all went down to a cousin's kid's wedding in Virginia a few years ago. Someone asked where she was and my sister said she had to walk her up to her room !
