2020 Our Year For Sure Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) Boston Globe reporter says on her Twitter Hernandez has an MCL sprain and will likely miss 1-2 weeks. Boston Herald also thinks it likely Still have to worry about Gronkowski-Chad-Branch-Welker-Woodhead in the passing game, but you'd think it would change their gameplan and limit the two-TE sets they love to run. Captain Hindsight Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I heard he has a bad case of "Fearbeardness"
Phlegm Alley Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I was just about to post this. This would be huge for the Bills, because a lot of what the Pats do on O is predicated around the two TEs they have. From what I read, Hernandez is likely out 1-2 weeks with the MCL sprain.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 They have some injuries in the secondary too. IMO, our best chance at winning would be in a shoot-out again. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/09/19/aaron-hernandez-expected-to-miss-bills-game/
Peace Frog Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) I'll take any advantage possible. I want the Bills to beat the Patriots so bad, I could just sh*t burning fish hooks. Edited September 19, 2011 by Porksword
Acantha Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Yeah, but if he's out and we beat them, it only counts for like half a win. I really hope they're at full strength so we get the full win.
BuffaninATL Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Yeah, but if he's out and we beat them, it only counts for like half a win. I really hope they're at full strength so we get the full win. methinks you're a bit too greedy .....

JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Great, I just picked him up on my fantasy team
Mark Long Beach Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I'll take any advantage possible. I want the Bills to beat the Patriots so bad, I could just sh*t burning fish hooks. Ow. I'll give you credit for imagination, but seriously? Ow.
Nervous Guy Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Great, I just picked him up on my fantasy team you really should consider picking up Brady next.
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 you really should consider picking up Brady next. Why, is he good?

Captain Hindsight Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Why, is he good? You should pick up Brady, Dalton, Vick, Eli, Rex Grossman, Sanchez, Romo, Henne,Hasselbeck, Rivers, and Orton and keep up your streak of picking up injured players
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 So you can jinx him too. Ahhh. Well considering I also have Jamaal Charles, you could be onto something there.
BUFFALOKIE Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Ahhh. Well considering I also have Jamaal Charles, you could be onto something there. Wow. I also have Jamaal Charles and Aaron Hernandez. Sucks for us. I'm 2-0 right now, and I have Scott Chandler on deck, but I have only Spiller to back up Charles....and I'm already starting Freddie. Me thinks I need an RB.

Knowing the Pats* and Bellichek, they will still run to TEs and Hernandez's replacement will get an opportunity to perform. They seem to be able to plug players in as needed. If they limit the TE formation than we have to deal with another formation that we have less film on. As good as Hernandez is, this is not a huge a game changer.
