Billzfan23 Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Hue Jackson was asked in his post-game new conference if his team was over-confident...haha..he said "I don't think there's ever over-confidence in the national football league" I think he's WAY off - their defense started to sleep in the second half after having that big lead This is how the Bay area newspapers spin it: "Whatever the problem is, it is most likely mental. It appears as though the Raiders get overly confident after playing well in the first half and start to get undisciplined in the second half. PromoTheRobot Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I think Gailey made adjustments that the Raiders D couldn't deal with. Our guys were wide open . All Oakland could do is blitz. They also looked pretty tired. Maybe the short week caught up to them. PTR
Beerball Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 The Bills offense was able to take over the game from a tired team. Did the Raiders make mental mistakes? I'm sure that they did, but 2 weeks in a row the Bills have taken a team to the woodshed and beaten them. And, I do mean beaten them...to the punch, to the finish, just flat out beaten them. Defensively we did just enough to hang on. Offensively we beat them.
Albany,n.y. Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Did anyone notice how cocky the Raiders were acting coming off the field at the end of the 1st half? Some were raising their hands to the crowd imploring the Raider fans to cheer them as if it was a home game. I think some of them thought the game was over.
