Beerball Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Cliche? Unoriginal? Hacky? Overdone? Have a little fun, will ya Rk? Pull that stick out of the mud. I propose: The Buffalo Stampede! Buffalo Rising! The Ralphy Hop! The Buffalo Assention! Ralph's Wallet!
Picnic Table F'er Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 The jump into the crowd so fans can touch you leap Let the Ralph Wilson touch you leap.
Chandler#81 Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 The lambeau leap. Well, that's been done. But I like The 'Lombardi' Leap!
jimmy10 Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I thought I read last year that the No Fun League was clamping down on crowd jumps, for safety, whatever. But they were going to "grandfather" the Packers in and still allow it in Lambeau because they've been doing it forever? Or something? Does anyone else remember that? Anyway, I think it's cool and a neat visual, but you gotta think.... All it takes is one psycho with a Swiss army knife...
section122 Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 David nelson was on first take and said it now will happen as a way to give back to the fans bc that's who this team plays for which was awesome to hear.

I seem to remember that as well, not sure what happened to that though as we weren't penalized yesterday.
Just Jack Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 The Bills Leap, or just shorten it to Bleap.
Kelso_Helmet Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 wikipedia says Bison were described as having "wild and ungovernable temper";they can jump 6 feet vertically and run in excess of 30 mph when agitated. In combination with their weight, that makes bison herds difficult to confine, because they can jump over or crash through almost any fence. Seems appropriate here....
Bananahands Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 First off, I was at the game today and it was quite possibly the greatest experience of my life. Aside from that, I've noticed lately that the Bills have cut down on dances and other such celebrations (which I am personally not a fan of) and have been leaping into the stands a lot. I wonder if this was something Chan may have instilled or just the pure excitement of the last two games. I am loving it! If this keeps up, we need a name for the leap like they have at Lambeau, incorporating the Ralph name. Any ideas?
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Let's see... The Flying Bison, The Stampede, (for Ralph) the Heart Attack Hop...

I heard it referred to as the Buffalo bounce, I think it was on the post game radio show.
BringBackFlutie Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Been called the Buffalo Bounce since Flutie started doing it in '98.
Bananahands Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Been called the Buffalo Bounce since Flutie started doing it in '98. Forgive me, I have somehow never heard the term. Or, it just hasn't happened since I started watching the bills until now(I started watching right when the bills got bad haha).
