Coach Tuesday Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I have absolutely no idea what that boy was thinking at the snap. Smoked by a dude who has not caught a single pass ina football game since 2006. He was thinking run. Misread the play like a rookie.
billsfan714 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 We see a lot of Ravens games in PA being part of the Steelers division. Everytime I see Ngata play I could just cry at what might of been. Good riddance Tweetner.
Sisyphean Bills Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 No. But, I saw him come down hard in the box and get burned last week though.
KOKBILLS Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 He woulda fit right into our secondary today. Nah...He would have made it worse...
MikeSpeed Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Evans and the Ravens 1-1, Donte and the 9ers 1-1, Poz and the Jags 1-1 former team 2-0. Coincidence I think not.
BuffOrange Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Normally don't like these threads, but I got no problem piling on Whitner cause he sucks.
Estelle Getty Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Evans and the Ravens 1-1, Donte and the 9ers 1-1, Poz and the Jags 1-1 former team 2-0. Coincidence I think not. So what happened to all the lil donte defenders? Hopefully they fled for greener pastures in san fran with him. Don't walk to far ahead of him, donte is known for getting lost when he is suppose to be shadowing people.
Thirty Year Fan Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Who just watched whitner get burned in overtime against the cowboys for like 80 yards hahaha What if he had 3 picks would you write this thred ! who the f cares ! I care about our 2 and 0 team . He was a bad High draft pick get over it ! 888 Maybin's working at wegmans statr a tread on him.
John Cocktosten Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Hey guys, give Lil Donte credit! At least he tackled the guy before he got into the endzone, unlike the Raiders game from a few years ago.
saundena Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Anyone check out the 49ers message boards to see what they are saying about Dante? I'm too lazy tonight
damj Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 @DonteWhitner: None of yall know what coverage we were in … Apparently you didn’t either Donte BWAH HA HA!!!!
Jauronimo Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Who just watched whitner get burned in overtime against the cowboys for like 80 yards hahaha That is improvement. Whitner usually gets burned in regulation.

Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Jay Cutler Haloti Ngata Kamerion Wimbley Chad Greenway Tamba Hali Nope, they took Donte Whitner at #9 :wallbash:
Bill from NYC Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 (edited) Jay Cutler Haloti Ngata Kamerion Wimbley Chad Greenway Tamba Hali Nope, they took Donte Whitner at #9 Davin Joseph and Mathias Kiwanuka as well, not to mention an extra second rounder, and the second round was loaded with players we needed. Yes, we drafted worse players in round (Maybin), but I have long made the contention that Whitner was the dumbest pick I ever saw. http://www.drafthistory.com/years/2006.html PS: It was #8 Edited September 20, 2011 by Bill from NYC
Dorkington Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 The replay looks like a bad play call, personally.
Dawgg Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 (edited) The Whiter-McCargo combination was the worst first round in Buffalo Bills history, particularly because the 2005 draft was one of the deepest in years. Where are all the homers who for years claimed that Whitner is a "good" player? Classifying Whitner as good is a stretch by any means. Here is a breakdown of Donte's gaffe on Sunday, though I think the other safety should share the blame. http://www.ninersnation.com/2011/9/19/2434835/49ers-cowboys-recap-tony-romo-jesse-holley-overtime Edited September 20, 2011 by Dawgg

My takeaway -- what the hell is the CB Carlos Rodgers doing on that play? He's basically just standing there, as far as I can tell. Maybe I'm missing something.
Mike in Syracuse Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Apparently you didn't either Donte BWAH HA HA!!!! He must have been in the coverage where you bite hard on the run fake then let the guy get behind you when the last thing you want to do is let the guy get behind you. Also known as the Dumbshit Defense!
