Obama continues to slide past desperate all the way to pathetic.

That was part of Barack Obama’s response to an exuberant fan who shouted “I love you!” at a campaign rally.

 

And so it has come to this. “The One” has gone from messiah to pleading like a teenage boy on a date. “Come on, baby. If you love me, you’ll do it.”

 

And I know these house seat special elections are only noteworthy when a Dem wins but I liked the line:

A liberal strategist put a rosy spin on it: “The mine hasn’t collapsed, but the loss in New York is definitely a dead canary.”

 

He stays true to his fascist roots:

...AttackWatch.com, the third and newest operation set up by this president inviting good and decent Americans to hand over the names of critics who say mean things about the president.

 

I was trying to think of a football coach who came in with such hype and soaring self-congratulatory rhetoric only to flame out after just a few seasons, but I couldn't think of any who would do Obama justice. He's destined to go down as the biggest loser of modern Presidential Politics, and with the likes of GWB, Jimmy Carter, and Lyndon Johnson in the running, that's a huge !@#$ing statement.
