Bump Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 our D choked... one more stop was all they needed UGHHHHHH
BillsVet Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Have to give credit where credit is due: The play calling exploited weaknesses and even without Johnson at the end still converted. Get well Stevie.
Roc Bronson Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 About what? I didn't see the play... He was suppose to knock the ball down but instead he took the int, and almost had the ball taken away, which would have been ruled a td for oak..
bladiebla Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Not to mention the decision to take the other FG Nah second FG decision was sound, first was a scared granny playcalling; should have gone for that first one no question about it.
FistingBot Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 This was a game we've lost time and time again over the past decade. Definitely seems like these guys have a different mentality than teams from years past. BTW - Fitz was a monster in the second half!
Fan in Chicago Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 They threw a jump ball on the Hail Nary and instead of knocking it down Searcy went for the pick and ended up in a wrestling match with a Raider receiver. If the ref had called simultaneous possession, that's the offenses ball and a Loss for the Bills. While true, i am inclined to cut the rookie some slack. The fact that he out jumped the others to get to the ball shows aggressiveness.
Slack_in_MA Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Can I just put in a big "screw you" to the NFL and its TV contract switching over to Pats/Chargers with 30 sec left in this game. Un-be-freakin-lievable. I'm with ya. Right in the middle of the 3rd down play. Had to "watch" the end on the CBS sportsline Game Tracker. That's just friggin' ridiculous.
bladiebla Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 (edited) our D choked... one more stop was all they needed UGHHHHHH Over dedicated to run protection and a terrible performance by our secondary, mainly McKelvin. Also props to Campbell who had a very good and flawless game imho. If our secondary performs like this against the Pats* we'll be shredded. Edited September 18, 2011 by bladiebla
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 bad decision to go for field goal in first half/ good play call for game winning touchdown
gobillsinytown Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I'm with ya. Right in the middle of the 3rd down play. Had to "watch" the end on the CBS sportsline Game Tracker. That's just friggin' ridiculous. For the first time ever the NFL contract worked in my favor. I live in Youngstown, OH and the Browns beat the Colts in time for them to switch to Bills/Raiders for the last 1:35. But that's the first time in about 15 years.
Kelso_Helmet Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Real time, maybe but replay showed it was Searcy's all the way i was similarly worried, or perhaps conditioned by decades of Bills' fandom. I also thought Merriman was tackled in the backfield by the Raiders' line on the Hail Mary.
jwolf02 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Can we please end the Fitz isn't the guy for this team talk? And PAY Freddie?

BuffOrange Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 For all 7 minutes it seemed like the ball was in the air, I'm just waiting and waiting for the little yellow flag to pop up in the corner of the screen. JFC HOW THE F*&^ WAS THAT NOT HOLDING ON THE RAIDERS LT?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I live in N Carolina, with about 8 minutes left they switched from the Jet's game to the Bills and stayed with it right to the end. I'm with ya. Right in the middle of the 3rd down play. Had to "watch" the end on the CBS sportsline Game Tracker. That's just friggin' ridiculous.

JFC HOW THE F*&^ WAS THAT NOT HOLDING ON THE RAIDERS LT? I think the ref was so shocked at how badly the LT was mugging the pass rusher that he forgot to throw the flag.
LetsGoBflo! Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Wow unbelievable. This shows that we can blow-um out, comeback, and win the close ones. Talk about building confidence, confidence, confidence.

JFC HOW THE F*&^ WAS THAT NOT HOLDING ON THE RAIDERS LT? They were ripping Dareus' jersey all day long. I can't recall a single penalty on either team's offensive line.
