The Wiz Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Uhoh.... we're doomed... Pretty much. Then monday he will be on WGR harping about why he knew they would lose.
Chandler#81 Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Sully: "Well, I've been around these people for too long, they never answer questions with a direct answer.." Now why do you suppose that is, Sullivan? Anyway, yeah, if he's on the bandwagon, Sunday looks scarier.
beerme1 Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Pretty much. Then monday he will be on WGR harping about why he knew they would lose. But they're not going to!
Big Turk Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Well the line is 3.5 right now for the Bills...considering that home teams usually automatically get a 3 point edge, it means oddsmakers feel all things equal, these are two pretty close teams, favoring the Bills by a half point...
8-8 Forever? Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Well the line is 3.5 right now for the Bills...considering that home teams usually automatically get a 3 point edge, it means oddsmakers feel all things equal, these are two pretty close teams, favoring the Bills by a half point... which is about right
Billshank Redemption Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 It seems like a pretty even matchup, I'd say we have a slightly better passing attack and worse rushing attack but establishing the run will be key. Whomever devises the best offensive gameplan will win as hue is a pretty good offensive mind too. It would be nice to blow them out
hondo in seattle Posted September 15, 2011 Author Posted September 15, 2011 Considering the Raiders were 8-8 last year, it feels good to be considered on par with them by the oddsmakers. It also seems like a fairly even matchup to me. I'm not sure yet how much confidence I have in our O Line or our Run D. This game will be a good test for both. Can't remember the last time Sully predicted a win. Is he cautiously jumping on the Nix/Gailey bandwagon?
Mike in Syracuse Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Well the line is 3.5 right now for the Bills...considering that home teams usually automatically get a 3 point edge, it means oddsmakers feel all things equal, these are two pretty close teams, favoring the Bills by a half point... Oddsmakers don't care if the teams are even, they want the people placing the bets to feel that way. The line is designed to split the house. For all we know the brains in Vegas could have the Bills winning by 20.
