Chilly Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Requiem for a Dream is one of the best movies I've ever seen, depressing as it is.
Magox Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 (edited) The most depressing for me, however, was "The Boost" with James Woods and Sean Young. I was so depressed after that movie that I went out and blew all of my money on a bunch of blow. I use to do that when I was happy.... and sad.... and bored.... Edited September 17, 2011 by Magox
EC-Bills Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 (edited) Excellent choice on The Mist. An underrated thriller that actually is depressing, and also a good adaptation of Stephen King's short story. I am with you on The Mist. Ending just ripped me open. Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Blemish. Actually any Star Wars movie these days will count as depressing since Lucas is off his !@#$ing rocker. Edited September 17, 2011 by EC-Bills
BillsPride12 Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Suprised nobody has mentioned Trainspotting yet. Another one that always gets me is Thirteen.
Fan in Chicago Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 The Road..............jesus It is tough to be depressed in a movie as boring as that one. What a waste of 2 hours it was
