That's a pretty rough film to digest!
Buftex Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 You never tire of City of God?? That's a pretty rough film to digest! Man, it is just beautifully made...a little violent, I get that..but it is definitely one of my faves of all time.
ExiledInIllinois Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Call me sentimental: Avalon (1990)

Canadian Bills Fan Posted September 15, 2011 Author Posted September 15, 2011 A Time To Kill is another one
Jauronimo Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Man, it is just beautifully made...a little violent, I get that..but it is definitely one of my faves of all time. Unfortunately the director's follow up City of Men wasn't nearly as good. City of God is a fantastic movie.
plenzmd1 Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 As mentioned...to name one is impossible..but the movie I know almost every line by heart??? Princess Bride!!!BTW, i am most certainly going to go see the Lion King in the theatre..i have only seen at home...not sure bout seeing it in 3D though
Albany,n.y. Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 I like Groundhog Day & The Pelican Brief, but the greatest ending has to go to Body Heat. Of the more recent movies, I liked The Reader the best.
Steve O Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Field of Dreams. From the sounds of others who have replied I really need to see Shawshank Redemption
CosmicBills Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Contact Gladiator Falling down This is a fascinating list to me ... Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of all three movies (though I think we're the only ones who can stand 3 hours of Contact), but it's such a randomly eclectic list. You're an interesting guy, Repuslif. Field of Dreams. From the sounds of others who have replied I really need to see Shawshank Redemption Yes. You do.
