Orton's Arm
Golly, I write a post, and the next one proves my point so neatly. It's a good day. Right. You'd obviously have to have "derangement syndrome" to think that Polian should want to draft a replacement for his aging franchise quarterback. #34fan
Never thought I'd say this, but I'm going to miss Peyton. Players like him, (and Brady to a certain degree) just make the league better. -Would've been great to see him continue on.
RJ (not THAT RJ)
Perhaps not derangement syndrome, though an inability to recognize either humor or sarcasm could be a symptom of Asperger's Syndrome. Might want to look into that.

Saint Doug
This truly would make my blood boil (out of jealousy) if the Colts either drafted either Luck or another franchise QB as a result of Manning's freak injury. The Bills dump Polian, then go on a 20 year losing streak due and about 20 different QBs. Meanwhile, during same time period, Polian lands on feet in Indy and drafts a future HOF, then will likely draft another great QB, minus the 20 year gap. What a bittersweet FU this will be to Ralph. The Senator
He's a redshirt junior. And will complete his degree requirements this Spring. Highly unlikely he'll eschew the NFL draft a second time, but I guess anything's possible. (Theoretically, he could play another year at Stanford - if he enrolls in a Masters program.) spartacus
Note to colts players from polian: we've given up on the season because we want luck. Anyone costing us the ability to draft him by winning games should plan on finding a new team, or new occupation entirely if your gm has his way you are correct and you can bet that unlike the Bills, when Polian tanks the season, he will get the QB he is after - and not come up 2 slots short. Now this ^^^^ is is a nice example of PDS, mixed in with a dollop of Bills fan self-hate. Well played!
buffaloaggie
The Colts situation reminds of the San Antonio Spurs years ago, when David Robinson missed an entire season and the Spurs were able to draft Tim Duncan. Granted, the Spurs lucked out by winning the NBA draft lottery, but the Spurs definitely benefited from a poor season thanks to an injury to their star. Luck would be more than happy to come out after his junior season for a chance to be Peyton Manning's understudy for a year or two.
