CSBill Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 (edited) My thoughts on the o-line: consistent push in the run game all day, protected well-only one sack and pretty solid protection against what was suppose to be a better d-line. I thought the left side was particularly strong in both the run and pass protection. If this can be turned into consistency, watch out! Edited September 11, 2011 by CSBill

Malazan Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 They were worlds above in getting push on the run game. I think spreading out the defense helped. They often had a 5-6 on 3-4 which helped a lot.
BillnutinHouston Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 I think Bell acquitted himself very well, both in pass pro and the run. Also, Fred Jackson is flat-out superb at exploiting any seam given to him.

I thought it was interesting that the Chiefs moved Hali over pears.....because he couldnt get past bell Kudos to bell who has been taking a lot of flak leading up to this game.....once again bell shows hat he shows up against the big pass rushers

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Awesome job. 1) Great job in pulling on some of those run plays 2) Great job handling crowd noise (only one false start and that was very late) 3) Great job in pass protection Hali beat Pears on that one sack--which was a nice move--but even that one was a bit unlucky. Fitz had an unusually far drop-back on that play, which was why he was sacked so easily.

Also, Fred Jackson is flat-out superb at exploiting any seam given to him. Agree on both counts. Neither of the other Bills backs, incidentally, had as many yards per carry as Freddy behind the same line.
