eball Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Jauron fielded a defense full of small, weak players. Even Kyle Williams was small for his position -- he just fooled everyone by actually being strong.
levy1 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Per Rotoworld: Buster Skrine - DB - Browns Browns DC Dick Jauron has been impressed with under-sized fifth-round CB Buster Skrine since training camp opened. "Buster has had a really good camp and I believe in the long run he's going to be an outstanding addition to this football team," Jauron said. "... He's done an outstanding job." The 5'9/185 speedster is ticketed for a role on special teams and in sub-packages to open the season. I just want to say, Thank God the Jauron Years are behind us. I feel bad for Cleveland fans. This is thirty seconds I'll never get back, but I should have known given the title for this post. Lets try to raise the bar here.
BuffaloBill Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Ever heard of Steve Tasker, Special Teams HOF-like player? He was 5'9", and listed at WR. How many games did he start at WR? Not many. Tasked deserves more credit as a WR as he was decent. Kelly reportedly begged to get him inserted more into the offense but he was considered too valuable as a st'er.
