billopads Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Geoff Hangartner has won the starting right guard position for the Carolina Panthers yet he wasn't good enough to stick with Bills as a backup. Sure looks like another cost cutting release to me.
Malazan Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 The 2010 Carolina Panthers season is the franchise's 16th season in the National Football League, and their 9th under head coach John Fox. They entered the season trying to improve on their 8–8 record from 2009, but failed to do so with a record of 2–14 and were officially eliminated from postseason contention in Week 11. In Week 16, the team clinched the NFL's worst record of the year and earned the #1 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
eball Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Says more about the level of talent on Carolina's OL than anything else. Pick Arizona this week. Big.

DrDawkinstein Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Sure looks like another moronic thread to me.

Doc Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Says more about the level of talent on Carolina's OL than anything else. Pick Arizona this week. Big. Come now, Mackenzy Bernadeau (Carolina's former starting RG) is a stud.
mattsox Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 (edited) Geoff Hangartner has won the starting right guard position for the Carolina Panthers yet he wasn't good enough to stick with Bills as a backup. Sure looks like another cost cutting release to me. That's what happens when you have 32 Teams. The other 3 major sports don't have that many. They need to get it back down to 30 teams. Too much mediocrity in the league. Jacksonville and Carolina should be on the list. Edited September 8, 2011 by mattsox
Doc Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Too bad Hangman didn't workout here. He's got ties to Pittsford, IIRC.
Ramblin' Rob Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Sure looks like another moronic thread to me. yep. who cares if the worst team in the league takes our garbage.
shibuya Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 if you watched preseason Hangartner was constantly pushed back... Our run game was anemic last year when he was our C... the middle was weak with him in as C. Everyone we've brought in is bigger and stronger then he is... bigger isn't necessarily better but stronger is

Peace Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 (edited) yep. who cares if the worst team in the league takes our garbage. Imagine how bad you are when you take a Bills castoff. Poor Panthers. Edited September 8, 2011 by Peace
Meark Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 So I guess you don't watch the games? Hangartner is not good enough to be a starter.. The fact that he was a starter for us just shows how weak our OL was last year.
CSBill Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Geoff Hangartner has won the starting right guard position for the Carolina Panthers yet he wasn't good enough to stick with Bills as a backup. Sure looks like another cost cutting release to me. joke, right?
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Since we were probably the second worst team in the league last year, GH going to the worst team makes some sense to me.
Dorkington Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Single post profile, no return to thread? I think I smell troll.
