Superb Owl Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Does anybody know what Coleman's staus is? Did he get picked up by anyone on their PS? I don't see anything. Maybe he's not as good as he looked last game. Seems like the roster moves were circular last year too around this time
NoSaint Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 (edited) It's my understanding that you can't waive someone who is injured, so to me, that still doesn't answer it. And if they were planning on adding him (it's been just a few days), why sign Switzer to the PS at all? You (and others) may be confusing hurt and injured. I think the consensus was he was dinged, not seriously injured. You can't cut a guy that's out for longterm with an injury, you certainly can get rid of a day to day guy without consequence. That said I dont find it relevant. They dropped an OL and WR and added an OL and WR. Simple math on it, just blurred due to the ps vs 53 issues. Obviously they were hoping for certain players to shake loose in cuts to pick up. But that doesn't explain why they kept Martin over Roosevelt unless his ankle got better fast. PTR They wanted roosevelt on the ps, but needed the ps spot for an OL until they found a guy for the 53. They didn't like Roosevelt for the 53 as much as Martin, but preferred having the body on the line once they found a guy. Edited September 8, 2011 by NoSaint
