Buftex Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Imagine if TBD was around then? How many of us would declare Kelly a bust on that one loss? I just laughed out loud! The PBP guy called that Bills O-line "suspect"! Ritcher, Hull, Devlin, Wolford is considered the greatest Bills O-line in history. So much for snap judgments. PTR Funny, what time does...I was at that game, and, other than the home opener in 1980 (breaking the phins streak), I can't remember being at a game where it got as loud as it was, that day, when Kelly was announced...that stadium was shaking...and it was obvious, from day one, Kelly was the real thing...good times!
BillsFanM.D. Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Hard to believe that was 25 years ago, damn.. Indeed. We're getting old.
Buckeye Eric Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Loved the commentary that he was playing behind a suspect offensive line. All but one became mainstays.
The Wiz Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 I miss Pete Metzelaars. It's funny cuz the first pass I saw go his way I thought, "MY GOD THAT GUYS IS A GIANT!"
