Thoner7
Hopefully Miami comes calling(I dont want them getting the 1st pick in the draft). Garrard was always udner rated I thought. Edited September 6, 2011 by Thoner7
K-9
Now THAT'S what I call "cost cutting." I can't see this having anything but a huge negative impact on their locker room. I know they'll start McCown but this still puts the pressure squarely on Gabbert to perform better, faster. I'm pissed if I'm a Jags fan. GO BILLS!!! Fan in San Diego
Wow! And people around here think we have problems. Imagine being a Jags fan today. It would be a WTF moment.
PromoTheRobot
Wayne Weaver is cheap. I'd sign him as a backup and dump Thigpen. PTR Edited September 6, 2011 by PromoTheRobot

The Senator
I imagine it means Gabbert is ahead of the curve, and will be starting by week 4 or sooner. (And he's gonna be a great QB in a year or two.)

2020 Our Year For Sure
Really annoying. I was going to bet Tennessee +3 in Jacksonville's home opener. Now the line is off the board and will move toward Tenny. JAX is awful with or without Garrard

SteamRoller67
Wayne Weaver is cheap. I'd sign him as a backup and dump Thigpen. PTR Backup? I'd sign him to compete with Fitzpatrick. Is all of Buffalo sold on Ryan Fitzpatrick as the "future" QB? That's nuts to me. Fitzy's gritty, a gamer and well-liked, but a franchise QB he'll never be. NishP
Nope, rather have fitz.... He's our starter for now and will be our starter next year aswell with Moore from Boise on the bench #gobills
RJ (not THAT RJ)
I mistakenly posted in the duplicate thread first, but am glad to see that others have already hit on the "Weaver is Cheap, this is a salary dump" theme. Goodness gracious, this is an odd thing for a team to do.

I guess he has only had eight seasons, the 9th year is when a QB really 'gets' it.
