Meanwhile crappy hdhte works fine.

Is Sony or direct tv responsible?

This is all Directv in my opinion, can't see how Sony is at fault here

Make sure you call and complain. It was not this bad using the dr online feed in the last two years.

Never thought I'd be so annoyed to see three firefighters...that's one of the things I keep cycling to. Listening to the game on radio...struggling with vid and volume down.

I had it last year and it was bad, but was hoping that it was my laptop. Obviously not.

This is as bad as it gets. Im pretty sure its directTV fault, I have netflix, ran VuDu and hulu plus with no real problems like this. Its like watching bills as legos and the freezing was jus as bad till it just crapped out now no games work...Maybe its first week bugs, I sure hope so...

Twitter is blowing up about it - there are some pretty entertaining tweets being lobbed @dircttv :D

I'm sure we'll get SOME sort of refund!

For some reason I doubt it

Btw, having slightly better luck pausing it and letting it buffer for a while, then as it catches up, pausing again. It still blows but it does work a touch better that way.

This is a clear example of a company rolling something out they were clearly not prepared for and didn't test then just trying to fix issues as they come up

Not to defend this clustereff but in the last two years, the first weeks were unwatchable and after that things smoothed out.

Giving it away for free to DIRECTV subscribers week one may be part of that issue each year.

The fact that they continue to have the same issue every year makes it that much worse
