I was watching Boise ST Vs. Georgia and they had they ugliest uniforms I have ever seen, especially Georgi's Helmet that was gray with a very wide candy apple red stripe down the middle . Then I thought may be it was an opening day special uni because they had the same style except the colors and helmet. But then I saw Maryland's and I was like OMG those are the ugliest things ever with the black and yellow pattern one one side then the kids turn around and they had this red and white cross looking thing on the other and I was just floored with how bad they were. I hope these are one time only uniforms because they are horrendous. UNLV was awful too, even my wife who could care less about football said those are the worst colors she has ever seen.

Easily Marylands' were the worst I've ever seen. I thought Georgia had pretty good uniforms. Red and silver always goes good together. Maryland, on the other hand, was an eyesore.

Boise's were clean, nice update for them. They have only recently made a name for themselves nationally in football and have some room to create an impression with their look.

Seems like most Boise fans love them. Maryland's on the other hand were pointless, not even well designed... painful to watch really.

i like that they are trying new things. usually older fans tend to like the more traditional type look and what they are use to. even on twitter i noticed how much the players and younger fans loved the look.

Maryland's unis, while odd, didn't elicit the same response from me as Georgia's. Those are, hands down, the ugliest uniforms I've ever seen. Where did silver come from? And that red didn't even look like Georgia's "usual" red -- more like a big freaking candied apple. Just horrible. And do we really need the word "Georgia" on the back of every jersey rather than the player's name?

 

FYI, the design on Maryland's helmet is a representation of the state flag. I really wasn't bothered by it; it was unique and inherently "Maryland" rather than what they did to Georgia.

 

Boise's uniforms looked pretty good, I thought.

They are all one-offs. That is the plan, anyway. Under Armor and Nike Pro Combat marketing.

oregon easily has the coolest jerseys in college sports. (especially the black and neon yellow they wore saturday night)

Im younger (24) and I was disgusted by It. Georiga has red helmets, period. None of this silver crap. Boise St in all white. eff that!

I dont even know what to say about Maryland, that was just fugly.

I loved UGAs unis. They were pretty sweet. Boise's were ok, but they had a very similar pro-combat jersey they used last year. FSU had a game with the Pro Combat unis back in '09 and they were pretty well received (aside from the black helmet).

 

Usually, the pro-combat jerseys are a 1 time deal.
