BillsObserver Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Buffalo signed 7 to the practice squad: WR K. Aiken, QB L. Brown, TE M. Caussin, DE L. Dotson, NT M. Jasper, DB J. Nesbitt & C M. Switzer. So Coleman and Roosevelt didn't make it.
NewEra Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 (edited) I know we have 10 LBs on our roster, but I would've liked to see Antonio Coleman added. I think he's a pretty solid player. REALLY glad we retained Aiken and Jasper. Edited September 4, 2011 by NewEra
shoretalk Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 The list is out and here they are: WR Kamar Aiken QB Levi Brown TE Mike Caussin DE Lionel Dotson NT Michael Jasper DB Joshua Nesbitt C Michael Switzer I am somewhat surprised to see Levi still hanging around and disappointed that Namaan's name wasn't on the list. We shall see what happens as rosters are shuffled and adjusted.
K-Gun10 Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Shocked Namaan didnt want to sign not real surprised by Coleman not on the PS
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 As usual, the wailing and gnashing of teeth about this or that rookie proves unnecessary, as they end up on the PS. I love our annual traditions here at TSW.

Kelly the Dog Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 They probably have to wait a day for Pianalto to clear waivers. I would imagine they would then sign him and release Caussin, unless for some reason Pianalto doesn't want to sign. It would seem a little bizarre that they kept Pianalto over Caussin for the roster and then didn't prefer him for the PS. They didn't know at the time they would be awarded Lee Smith.

REALLY glad we retained Aiken and Jasper. My thoughts exactly. Glad about Aiken and Jasper - disappointed (and a bit surprised) about Coleman.
DanInUticaTampa Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Kinda like the list with the exception of Switzer. I only saw two preseason games, and I am not sure if I recall him.

Namaan was ok at best in the preseason; I think he received a lot of underserved hype, unlike Aiken.
PromoTheRobot Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Naaman could be waiting to see if another team has interest. Why come back to Buffalo if you aren't going to get a shot? PTR

Sounds about right.
