hondo in seattle Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Kudos to Brian Galliford: "We're not expecting nearly the same veteran bloodbath that Buscaglia thinks there may be. In fact, there's only one veteran cut on Joe's 53-man roster projection that we fully see the logic of: that of center Geoff Hangartner." Buscaglia was predicting that the Bills would release McGee, Bryan Scott and some other name veterans as a "salary dump." Galliford had it right. The O Line seems awfully thin right now.
Nanker Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 An awful lot of FA OLmen available now. Don't expect to see anyone hired this week. If a Vet is signed and active for the first week of the season, their salary is guaranteed for the entire year. This is happening League-wide. There are a lot of players that are on the outside of in at the moment. Very few will find a home this week. IMHO.
