eme123 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Haha Marv Albert! I suppose its ok as long as he doesn't show up to the stadium in women's underwear. I can see the call now. "Brady back to throw.....(Yelling)....OHHHHH and Merriman serves up a FACIAL!!!! A spectacular move by Shawne Merriman"
Fan in San Diego Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 i actually think gannon is decent. his observations are usually on the money. he is not flowery or bombastic, just critiques what he sees. that is all i need, it is hard enough to watch the NFL now with all the non-stop commercials, video inserts, etc, not having to deal with an over the top jack-ass analyst is somewhat comforting. Randy Cross usually drive me up a wall.
Bills!Win! Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I hate listening to Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf. It's crazy how much they talk about Tom Brady/defend the Patriots when they play. It's annoying.

Shoto Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 The A Team was Van Miller and John Murphy Love it. We got the A-team!!! Actually, I'm a big Gannon fan. He might also be anti-Chiefs, having played there and needing to show he's not a homer (e.g., like Tasker).
The Rev.Mattb74 ESQ. Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Marv do we get the LT lookalike in Drag too?
You herd it hear last Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 As long as its not Chris Collinsworth I'm fine with it. If you're listening to Collinsworth doing a Bills game, that's definitely a good thing (due to flex scheduling)... but I do know what you're saying...
amgouldi Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Marv Albert, not Kenny. I wish it was Marv, but the OP has it right. It's Kenny, Marv's crappy brother, and he's awful.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Is kenny really marv's bro? I did not know that.
3rdand12 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 hoping it was Herb Albert and his tijuana brass, that would be pretty nice to listen to.
papazoid Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 be happy it's not steve tasker and ray bentley.
nucci Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 The A Team was Van Miller and John Murphy Van Miller, Stan Barron and Dick Rifenberg were the A-Team.
JohnC Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Is kenny really marv's bro? I did not know that. Kenny is Marv's son.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Now people are crying about how we are getting the D Team announcers? Holy crap, some of you can complain about anything. And as some has said, Gannon really knows the game & the league.
JohnC Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Van Miller, Stan Barron and Dick Rifenberg were the A-Team. Let's not get nostalgic. The younger crowd doesn't know who and what you are taling about.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Let's not get nostalgic. The younger crowd doesn't know who and what you are taling about. I thought Bradley Cooper & Rampage Jackson were the A Team.
26TrapDraw Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Agreed. Marv Albert rocks. He's the man when it comes to calling the games!!! MARV ALBERT IN THE BOOTH: " Nipple Clamps for Threeeee........YEEESSSSSS!!!!
