Maybe the poor play of the o-line versus Denver had more to do with Von Miller than anything else. This guy is looking like the next LT. We may regret that he did not fall to us one day. A couple of factors between Denver and Jax: Denver has better DL talnet and a couple of studs in Miller and Dumervil. They are better than Jax. Denver played a lot of stunts and blitzes that we were not ready for and did not adjust too. We played plain vanilla blocking schemes. Bell got his wake up call. They are better than Jax. Denver played a lot of stunts and blitzes that we were not ready for and did not adjust too. We played plain vanilla blocking schemes. Bell got his wake up call. Bleeding Bills Blue Posted August 30, 2011 Share Posted August 30, 2011 We didnt do enough to stop their blitzing in denver, we just kinda spread it out and let it fly. With the amount of pressure they were putting on us, i was surprised he wasnt sacked more. Fitzy was getting rid of it a lot and just not comfortable back there. Gameplanning we probably would have called more draws, screens, even some of those quick welker like plays (assuming parrish ever plays). Have to get the defense on their heels, and not let their blitzing dictate play. That being said, they were just content in the preseason to see how the line adjusted to that, and they got blown up.
