West End Stench Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Looks like he fumbled on the ground but wasn't contacted.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Late in the 4th quarter, Hairston went from ROT to LOT.  He looks good.  I noticed on a few replays how nicely he sinks his hips and plays pretty low for a guy who's 6'6".  He's not a waist bender… looks like an athlete.

He's had a little trouble with speed rushes on the outside, but overall, not bad for a mid round rookie that hasn't gotten a ton of time so far.  He's at least got some potential, IMO.  Boy, I'm not sure Thigpen could tie his shoes without trouble tonight.

I'm not great at analyzing line play but I've been high on this guy since we drafted him.  From what I've heard he's a good athlete with great strength who is really raw. He could be a solid OT for years to come. I would still have preferred an aging vet to bridge the development gap but maybe he'll catch on sooner than expected.
truth on hold Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Bills offense went downhill when they took out Jackson. When Spiller came in it was their first possession w/o scoring after scoring on first three. They REALLY need to figure out what they're doing with this guy. He's not been a factor and involved very little
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Well, our 1's outplayed their 1's so I'm pleased about that.  The whole Thiggy part of the game seemed like a repetition of bad throws, dropped passes, and bad officiating calls… but if we could win, I'd be happy.
BillsBruce Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 If this game is important enough to black out, it's important enough to win. Make the conversion.
Bills!Win! Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 when was the last overtime in preseason and how many games have ever gone into OT? wondering about those stats lol
section122 Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I didn't think there was ot but ill take free football! Â Its nice to get some free player e v a l as well
DanInUticaTampa Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I really hope this season is worth it. I am postive we will be better than last year, but if we are able to at least finish 8-8, I would be so pleased. I still find it hard to believe 8-8 or better will happen, but I don't think it is out of the realm of being possible. we will have a better idea how bad/good this team is after some regular season games.
BuffOrange Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 OK Rich Eisen, we get it. Bills-Jags preseason OT isn't the most exciting thing in the world. It's not really funny the 18th time.
