Corp000085 Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Too bad... Unfortunately for Steve and his family, this appears to be a situation of "tying up loose ends" before he's gone. Hope your suffering is swift and your pain is eased!
DC Tom Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Hopefully this'll loosen up Apple's ridiculously draconian content policies (or let the courts do so). Hate Apple...should hate Jobs by association, since most of what I hate about Apple are his decisions. But honestly, I can't. Between him and Bill Gates, they basically created the home PC industry.

/dev/null Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) I've never been a fan of Apple, Mac's, iPods, iPhones, or iPads. But I do have to give the man tremendous props. He was a tech trailblazer. Here's a recent picture of Jobs. Bit of a warning, he does not look well at all <removed> Edited August 28, 2011 by SDS This is a photoshopped image that doesn't dignify a link back
Wacka Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Apple bought an old HP campus and is now the biggest landholder in Cupertino, CA. In June, Jobs showed up at the city council meeting to give a 10 minute presentation on the new building they are planning A LARGE circular 4-5 story building. Very cool looking. He looked a lot better than what he does now. Looks like the end is near.

Never been a fan of him or the product, but he did create a huge following and a massive company. I hope something turns around for him soon. The Poojer Posted August 27, 2011 Author Posted August 27, 2011 (edited) love the ipod products, never a mac/apple lover or hater, but the guy certainly is the closest we have to a norman einstein or a rocket surgeon. he and bill gates have defined technology and success for our generation....that picture is really heartbreaking....i hope he is able to ride into the sunset and enjoy his successes... SDS Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 That link to the image that was posted was a disgusting piece of garbage. You could zoom into the neckline and see the intentional blurring of the image where it meets the neckline. For those who saw it, do you really think Steve Jobs would pose for such an image?
