Doc Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 According to CHris Brown Chris Kelsey had Lasic eye surgery to repair a hole in his Retina....Now i know why he was out of position all the time....sorry You don't get LASIK surgery for a hole in the retina. Laser surgery, yes, but not LASIK. But your point still stands.
BillsRUs Posted August 25, 2011 Author Posted August 25, 2011 Aren't they gearing Carrington up for replacing kelsay? I think the plan is to have carrington at olb in certain situations to cover the tight end....i think he switches between DE and LB. There is no way they have him cover receivers regardless of how athletic he is.
Green Lightning Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Kelsay's loss is a blow. Now we have to only B word about Bell and McLovin.....
miserable_fan Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Not like Kelsay will be missed, but looks like alot of our starters will be on the sidelines for Saturday. Another pre-season loss followed by "we suck" threads is imminent.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Jack DelRio to his offensive coordinator: "Kelsay's out. Remove all of the reverses and misdirection plays."
High Mark Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 (edited) I believe 4 bills is correct. We are not running a true 34 like everyone is used to playing in madden. Kelsay has his hand down most of the time, I dont think I have seen him in coverage much yet. This is how Carrington has played with the twos too. At TC Kelsay and Carrington are both with the OLBs for positional drills. I think our alignment is more of a 5-2 or 4-3 over, thats what I would call it anyways. basically all the same thing. Batten has been Merrimans backup this year, Carrington Kelsays. I dont know why our staff thinks they are so smart/we are so pigeon holed with our roster. -Cut Kelsay -Take kelsays salary and sign another competeing LB like tatupu, morrison, other (sell it to Ralph as a cost saving move - which it likely will be) - Move Moats outside. - Move Carrington to DE. THEN *moats and Batten compete outside opposite merriman *Kelsay bags groceries *Carrington becomes a pass rushing specialist DE/LDE in a 4 man front *more depth at ILB, OLB, and DE. *More cap sapce *More money in Ralphs pockets *Team gets better *There are no negatives.
