Rudyc80 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Out indefinetly...does anyone know for sure? But i will say this...the rams just lost a starter with the same injury for 8 weeks!!!
JoeF Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Listen to TD's press conference--audio is archived on bb.com. He did not put a timetable on Lawyer's return (using the words indefinitely). But he did answer a question during the Q&A -- where TD says something to the effect--- "Everyone heals differently, if Lawyer says he will be ready for Jacksonville, I would not discount this. He has never missed a regular season game."
Dan Gross Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 He also made it clear right up front that it is not a season-ending injury.
Nervous Guy Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Out indefinetly...does anyone know for sure? But i will say this...the rams just lost a starter with the same injury for 8 weeks!!! 12084 hmmm....I have the overwhelming urge to say...billsfanone!
ch19079 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Thomas played with a cast on. so can Lawyer. hell, after a few shots from teh doctors, he will be good to go. if not, Wire can come in for min.
Typical TBD Guy Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 "Out indefinitely" meant anywhere from 2-8 weeks, with the likelihood of him being back closer to the 2 than the 8. I don't know how you got a possible season-ender out of this diagnosis...oh wait aren't you the guy who started the whole billsfanone thing?
34-78-83 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Rudy, you've truly out done yourself with this one! Congrats....
millbank Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Tom Donahoe later said he would not be surprised if he was ready for first game...
CoachChuckDickerson Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Out indefinetly...does anyone know for sure? But i will say this...the rams just lost a starter with the same injury for 8 weeks!!! 12084 Woah there! I have been listening to the Simoncast today and they NEVER said he might be lost for the season. Your post is a flat lie. Where do you get your info from?
IDBillzFan Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Rudy, I hate it when you forget to take your happy pill.
Joe Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 He should be able to play with one arm anyway seeing as how he hasn't had an interception in two years. No one would notice the difference!
Cash2Burn Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Out indefinetly...does anyone know for sure? But i will say this...the rams just lost a starter with the same injury for 8 weeks!!! 12084 Rudy, I don't know why I keep responding to your "chicken little" posts, but I just can't help myself. If your outlook on life is anything like your thoughts on the Bills, I feel extremely sorry for you. Life's too short to always be worrying like you do. BTW, here's what ESPN had to say about Milloy's injury...doesn't sound like 8 weeks to me: "In related injury news, it is not known yet whether safety Lawyer Milloy, who suffered a broken forearm Saturday, will be ready to start the regular season. Milloy underwent surgery Sunday and seemed confident he could play in the Sept. 12 opener with a soft cast. If he cannot play, third-year veteran Coy Wire is the most likely replacement. jarthur31 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 LOL, that's funny about INT's. Playing with a cast means you won't be able to tackle someone like you should. I'm not worried about picks, just the ability to take down a RB or receiver.
BB2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 If there is a MD on the board, let them answer the question about Milloy.
Bear Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 I swear Rudy is really Hogboy and he's just F'n with us.
Alaska Darin Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 LOL, that's funny about INT's. Playing with a cast means you won't be able to tackle someone like you should. MattyT Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 When was the last time you saw Lawyer Milloy wrap when making a tackle? 12299 Sad, but true. Still a fun player to watch tho'.
Alaska Darin Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Sad, but true. Still a fun player to watch tho'. 12314 No disputing that.
Coach Tuesday Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Rudy, I have an idea - how about you take a break from starting threads? You can still post, but, for at least awhile, put to bed your attention-craving pathology for starting doomsday "news" threads. How about it? At least until the season starts.
BILLS4LIFE Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 OMG...will you PLEASE STOP NOW!!! Im already in a bad mood today...he is NOT going to miss the whole season! Man...I seriously need a break from this board...
