If it was legal they wouldn't confiscate it. In fact, if it was anything legal, the NFL couldn't do a damn thing. The NFL can't suspend someone over rumors.

The NFL can do whatever they damn please as evidenced by the last two days.

I doubt that story, simply because if Merriman was juicing, why the !@#$ wasn't he sharing with Maybin?

The thought crossed my mind that he was getting it for Maybin.

All he would need to do would be to show a picture of Maybin to the border control, and they would believe him.

Yes, and how would they even know what was confiscated? Are they going to kindly ask the federal government to break confidentiality laws?

A report of a rumor on a website I've never heard of? That's enough proof for me.

PTR

Reading comprehension > you.

Where did I say it was sufficient proof?

Those laws are not confidential from your employer

Sorry, not mocking you. Mocking the site and the notion that everything on the web is true.

Starting to break? 17 days is one helluva "start."

GO BILLS!!!

I posted the link merely because it substantiates (albeit weakly) what I am saying, and the "starting to break," was intended to be taken as the beginning of sites reporting it, not as sufficient proof by itself.

Other poster said 2 weeks ago. Unless he has 2 accounts it's an odd coincidence.

Ralph Wilson just saved a bunch of money on his car insurance by switching to Geico. Therefore, he is treating the whole team to dinner at the Olde Country Buffet to end training camp.

For what it's worth, I was fully aware of this in late July.

But when I saw this thread about "major news," figured it was fitting to put here.

Brother in law knows border agent. I am not about to come on here and say this "for sure happened" just scared me seeing someone else is saying this. I hoped at one point this was a bad rumor, but seeing an additional person who I dont know saw same thing has me thinking.

Good god, man, that's worse than the first "source."

Didn't claim it was a source. Just noting that it was being discussed on 7/31. So far there's nothing credible tied to this rumor.
