Tony Ugoh? Any interest? he was cut today by Detroit. i think he would be a cheap pick up that at very least would be good depth if hes not better then what we have, which i think he could be

The Botton line is he better than Wang or Cordoro, because eone of those jokers is going to make the team.

I though we already brought him in last year and didn't sign him

The answer to that question may be no, he's been cut by two tackle needy teams, he also worked out for the Bills last year after being cut by Indy and was not signed.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read:

"Ugoh's release comes as no surprise after what happened earlier this week. Ugoh was missing from practice on Wednesday, and nobody was really sure why. Jim Schwartz declined to comment, and the only thing we really heard was that Ugoh was considering retirement. His agent did say that Ugoh would be back in a few days, but now that won't be happening with the Lions releasing him."

Good work

Let's start looking for CFL cuts from their preseason too ... if there's one guarantee about this board it is that someone will get all excited about any team's first cuts as if the other team was so stupid as to cut a player in the first round of cuts who can be an NFL starters.

This is not to say that we don't need some reserves on the OL because other then 4 out of 5 who looked good (LT, LG, C, and RT)... I didn't see any performance worthy of a starter in the NFL.

No tackles are good enough for twobillsdrive. Dont even bother posting about any. Clearly Demetrius Bell and Erik Pears are the future of this franchise. Much like the fact that Gailey doesnt use a tight end, yet Fitzpatrick targeted the tight end on nearly half of his throws in the first preseason game. Lets turn up our noses at any player "we've heard of", and stick with Chandler, Bell, Wrotto, Wang, and the rest of our team of all pros. Then we can start Namaan Roosevelt or David Nelson at the other wide out position and we will win as many games as last year. Oh boy im pumped.

are we gona look to sign actuall veteran guys who are good and are proven good? who still is left out there? and coming up on waivers?

Im not to big on Pears, and urbik starting on the OL, and from what billsdaily is saying Urbik looked awful last night

atleast the Deffense is getting alot of pressure on the QB

Not only that, but if ppl actually watched teams around the league other than the Bills, they'd realize Detroit has a pretty ****ty oline to begin with, and a very precarious tackle situation. It's one of the leading reasons Matt Stafford has not been able to stay healthy

Pears didn't look out of place last night, not a stud superstar but for a first preseason game he didn't do anything to embarass himself.

Urbik on the other hand was like a deer in the head lights. On the screen pass to Spiller all he had to do was put his body on the defender who was a couple of feet away and CJ would have had a chance to break it. Instead Urbik stood there ... Again, it's the first preseason game but if the reports out of camp are correct we may see last year's center at RG and last year's RG at center. Geoff would at least is a smart player and at guard he wouldn't be blown away by NT's any more.

The good news if that if Maybin gets cut, we can all say that Urbik sucks.

Not a stretch because he does. He's been dreadful in TC and was brutal last night. When you build a line by the waiver wire you get what you pay for.
