Coach Tuesday Posted December 20, 2004 Share Posted December 20, 2004 You do realize, don't you, that short of winning the Superbowl, the HIGHEST POSSIBLE WAY TO END THE SEASON is to go 10-6, winning our last 7 straight (including beating Pittsburgh), and MISSING the playoffs? Not that I would wish that, of course, you "play to win the game," etc. etc., and the playoffs would be wild, BUUUUUUUUT, think about it: 10-6 + hottest team in the NFL + beat Pittsburgh (the possible Superbowl winner) + feel robbed b/c of Game 1 against Jax + end on a high note = HUNGRY AS HELL FOR NEXT YEAR. Yes, when the NFL apologized for not giving us a TD that obviously crossed the plane? Yes. robbed. And i will feel like crab at 10-6 and not in he playoffs.
