DeeRay Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 would you feel the same way had Lawyer Milloy delivered a similar blow to a receiver? be honest...you probably wouldn't.
UConn James Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 it is easy to say it was a deliberate cheap shot when they do a slowmotion frame by frame replay. but the reality is this game is played at 100 miles an hour....and it takes less then a fraction of a second for a player who is going for a ball....all of a sudden to look as if he is going for the head. 168513[/snapback] That is initially what I thought. Until I saw Darius' follow-through from the opposite angle. Not only was there no attempt to pull back, he followed through on the clothesline as the guy was almost to the ground. He didn't even kneel/hover over Fergeson to see if he was OK. It was deliberate.

Greg de'Ville Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 ...how 'bout a hefty fine AND a one-game suspension? That was a bs cheap shot by Darius. No place for that.
Rico Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 Wonder if this makes top 5 on JACKED UP tonight... Or do they not condone cheap shots?
