RayFinkle Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 3 years for 11 million...I actually would have paid that for Donte. Not a bad deal for the 49ers.
PromoTheRobot Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Wow, I'm speechless. Is Donte that big a douche? I mean he was sending Bills fans tweets like he wanted to come back. Lesson learned...if he's tweetin' he's lyin'. PTR

Rico Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 youtube.com/watch?v=VDNWndU7wRE I want to see a vid of him getting tazed.
John Cocktosten Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I want to see a vid of him getting tazed. That would be awesome. Here is the next best thing...
Rico Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Levy has lost a ton of credibilty with his drafts and hiring of Jauron. As a coach he was pretty good I guess, but with that roster nobody could have lost. I love the guy either way, but what a debacle his tenure was. Clements was a bust IN SF so will Whitner. Harbaugh is a doosh by the way. Thank god Shanahan and Harbaugh didnt come here. Players clearly hate those guys. Thanks Marv. Debacle indeed, so bad that he makes TD look pretty good in comparison.
Arkady Renko Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 3 years for 11 million...I actually would have paid that for Donte. Not a bad deal for the 49ers. I have to wonder what the Bills offerred him last season. I'd bet it was better than that.
Mark Vader Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 What a weird story this has turned into. As for SF, this has got to be the ultimate proof that Jim Harbaugh is doing everything he can to secure the #1 pick in the draft, so he can be reunited with Andrew Luck.

His "treating men like men" business. When your men stay out all night before the Super Bowl, and then fold up during the game, how can you "treat them like men" again the next time the big game rolls around? Jeez, Marv, give these "men" a curfew, will ya? Grrrr. Oh, yeah, happy birthday, old timer...
Drifter Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 youtube.com/watch?v=VDNWndU7wRE Thanks for this clip. Watch the beginning of the play. Poz takes himself out of position leaving the gaping hole LT ran through then Donte whiffs. The subtraction of those two should improve our defense.
NaPolian8693 Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Good riddance. All he was good for was building up a fanbase among mindless Twitter followers.
MaineMoxie Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 That would be awesome. Here is the next best thing... youtube.com/watch?v=UAHWsKoSN7M That's awesome. Bye bye Donte!
Lurker Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Sal should give out Donte's cell number to Bengals Fans so they can text their displeasure. Sal should move out of his mom's basement and get a real job...
Stormin Norman Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Can't wait until he guarantees a winning season for the 49ers. And declares himself the best safety in the league. I need a laugh.
High Mark Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) Sal should give out Donte's cell number to Bengals Fans so they can text their displeasure. Or they could just be happy he went to the 9ers? They lucked out and dont even know it! Those clips are funny. I never really thought he was great in run support. I know he had tons of tackles, but our D sucks, so that makes sense. And the Bills are notorious for giving out too many tackles. Edited August 5, 2011 by Thoner7
Malazan Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 A class act all the way. Ladies and Gentlemen, Donte Whitner.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 A class act all the way. Ladies and Gentlemen, Donte Whitner. Not sure if you're being facetious but I guess classy is as classy does. Lots of people are taking shots at Donte's as he exits our world and that's a bit unfortunate, IMO.

It's not 'taking a shot' because you like the player. If you don't feel Donte has issues to work out with his his focus, self control, and need for attention then we'll have to disagree.
