He’s only a Rear Admiral, so what does he know? What do any of us know? And how can some people be so sure? 1 Quote

Well my friend, there is a legend that has been passed down about The One that walks amongst us who does know everything. He goes by many names amongst us mere mortals, with the latest generation mostly referring to him as "The Know it all". The rest of us? Not so much. Now, if you all sit still and listen carefully, there's a high likelihood that "The Know it all" will soon be making an appearance. Be prepared to be annoyed. Do you also need me to prove that your car will never become a rock star and sell out a world tour? Because it can’t technically be proven but logic says it won’t happen. Many people say it’s a really, really big place, and we have no way of knowing what is out there. But you can know for sure. That is telling. Of something. Quote

Don't you know that this used to be a fun, silly thread, where we could just goof around?? Do you really think we all believe in all of these UFO stories?? I swear you remind me of some annoying bible-thumpers I've met growing up. No clue at all how to have fun or interact with people. You'd rather let everyone know that you think you're the smartest person in the room. (While clearing the room with your personality.) You single-handedly ruined this long-running thread, because of your holier than thou attitude. The old saying, "Turd in a punch bowl" comes to mind. Edited September 30 by Bad Things 1 Quote

You did, after all, bash “Bible thumpers” for no reason whatsoever. No one thumped a Bible in this thread. Any other thoughts people shouldn’t be allowed to have or things they shouldn’t be able to do? If someone put ketchup on a hot dog would it ruin your day? Quote

ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Riddle me this - - if there are no recent alien visits by submerged UFOs, why did the government decide that every vice president since Walter Mondale should live at the US Naval Observatory? Here's the official cover story - - from https://www.whitehouse.gov/about-the-white-house/the-grounds/the-vice-presidents-residence-office/: "Walter Mondale was the first Vice President to move into the home. It has since been home to the families of Vice Presidents Bush, Quayle, Gore, Cheney, Biden, and Pence. Vice Presidents have welcomed countless guests to the residence, including foreign leaders and dignitaries. Still, the Naval Observatory has continued to operate. Scientists observe the sun, moon, planets, and selected stars, determine and precisely measure the time, and publish astronomical data needed for accurate navigation." Do you really think that every VP since Mondale has lived at the Naval Observatory because they want to "observe" the sun and the moon? All you gotta do to observe the sun is look up during the day, or look up at night to observe the moon, planets and stars. And what do any of those things have to do with oceans or the Navy? I'm sure if the president decided to live there it would draw too much attention, so just exactly what sort of naval phenomenomenon is the VP really keeping an eye on and reporting back to the president about? Gotta run - - I need more tin foil, and the dock workers may go on strike again in November. What sort of ship cargo are they afraid of unloading, anyway? Quote
