No denying that. It’s not irrelevant at all. Sometimes even when math doesn’t technically prove something by the strict definition of “proof”, it leaves such minuscule doubt as to the actual truth that the practicality of the matter is proven in all but the most technical sense. The guy/geek explains this in simple terms starting at 25:22. His explanation parallels the possibility of aliens existing.

I’m not going back to look, but even he said basically this doesn’t mean anything or have any practical application.

Funny you mention the eclipse because there was a widely viewed "UFO" sighting shared by people who saw..... the shadow of a plane passing above the clouds as they viewed the eclipse Do the UFO sightings made by experienced pilots that get officially investigated and remain unexplained count as data? There was some discussion upthread about Avi Loeb's plans to search for underwater fragments of a very unusual "interstellar object" that passed by earth a few years ago. So I did a google search to see if there was any new information about how that turned out. The following article is about 5 months old, but was published after the most recent posts about him in this thread. I found the details about him interesting - - he's still at it, and had plans at the time the article was written for another expedition "next spring." Netflix is apparently filming something about him: https://www.theguardian.com/science/2023/nov/29/the-alien-hunter-has-harvard-avi-loeb-found-proof-of-extraterrestrial-life ________________________ "He’s busy rehearsing for a one-man show about his life and work, which he’ll perform in his attic tomorrow. Apparently, I’m the “only journalist to be invited”, apart from the camera crew filming a documentary. * * * Is he nervous about his show? “No, no,” he says. “Because I’m playing myself – there’s no difference.” Netflix will be filming it; in June documentary-makers accompanied him on his trip to Papua New Guinea where he recovered debris from a fireball that landed in the sea to the north of Manus Island. “There were over 50 film-makers and producers that wanted to document what I’m doing. They wanted to be on the ship, but I said I had a contract just with one.”

Why would one multiply them together? Sure it would be an absurdly large number but they're totally unrelated. It would be like multiplying together a rhinoceros and a aircraft carrier. Means absolutely nothing. Edited June 10 by Tony P correct typo

Tiberius
https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/4717233-hidden-ufo-civilization-could-be-on-earth-harvard-researchers/mlite/ (NewsNation) — An unidentified, technologically advanced population could be living secretly on Earth. That startling claim was made in a new paper by researchers at Harvard and Montana Technological University. They speculate that “unidentified anomalous phenomena” (UAP), another term for UFOs, could be living underground, on the moon or even walking among humans. The researchers acknowledge in the paper their hypotheses may be regarded skeptically by the general scientific community, but they still deserve “consideration in a spirit of epistemic humility and openness.” UFO whistleblower David Grusch interview: What’s happened since? The paper posits the possibility of “cryptoterrestrials” as an explanation for unidentified and unexplainable observations made worldwide each year. Here are the theories proposed in the paper: A “remnant form” of ancient civilization remains on Earth An intelligent species evolved separately from humans and now stays hidden Cryptoterrestrials traveled from another time period or planet The unidentified creatures are of supernatural origin, likened to “earthbound angels” The paper also suggests the idea of cryptoterrestrials living in or under sighting hotspots such as lakes and volcanoes. The researchers propose the influx of sightings in similar areas is due to entry/exit points for hidden societies deep in the Earth. Other possibilities for cryptoterrestrial settlements lie nearby, like on the moon. 1

ICanSleepWhenI'mDead
Turns out there are underground tunnels on the moon. Scientists speculate they were made by lava flows, but they found one with a caved-in roof. I've seen lots of movies showing various scenarios that cause tunnel roof collapses, but I don't recall ever reading about a cave-in caused by lava flows. The truth is out there: https://www.inverse.com/science/moon-cave-hidden-passageways-tunnel-surface
