Not really. Shawne Merriman? You guys act like he's going to be his former self and get 7-10 sacks this year without even seeing him play the last 2 or 3 yrs. Chris Kelsay, Andra Davis and Moats? And you guys sound like this is an improvement from what we had last year? What's the basis? He was starting in GB until he got hurt. And he hurt his wrist. It's not like this guy's coming off a ruptured achilles; why would you assume he can't cover ground like he always has? U want to see improvement? Look at the Eagles defense now. THATS IMPROVEMENT. Look at what the Lions defense looks like. Getting Vanden Bosch, getting Suh and Fairley. Picking up Corey Williams. THATS IMPROVEMENT. They've managed to address their problems over a year or 2 and they've improved already. We sign a bunch of has beens who can't even finish a full season and we're already look like an "NFL front 7?" Vanden Bosch? Really? Why, because he was so dominant last year? They got Fairly to go with Suh, we got Dareus to go with Williams. I'm sorry, I forgot; they did grab a backup DT in Corey Williams. Sure, there are a lot of moves we'd all like to see, but pissing and moaning about every little thing is just irritating.
