BillsFanM.D. Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 no thanks. Still too many bad memories of his father running through our defense back in the day... kidding! reading this caused major simpsons flashback. Homer as King Kong. Marge as the 'blue haired lady.' .....the tribal people speak: "Mosi Tatupu....Mosi Tatupu." great episode.
bkep32 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I think Nick and lofa in the middle would be huge additions to this struggling team. Let the younger guys develope and take lessons from these two.
Fan in Chicago Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Lofa asking to be released, looks like Seattle will give it to him. Any interest? http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6820708/lofa-tatupu-seattle-seahawks-asks-release Now that his release is confirmed, let us look at the possibilities of him coming to the Bills http://www.kcby.com/sports/professional/126484183.html He is 6-0', 250 lb. Good size Age 28. Good age and possibly in his prime Was slated to make ~$4.3 million in 2011 season. Quite cheap Injuries - big concern. He has been injured quite a bit and his 2010 season was, I think, one with fewest tackles (88) for full season played Reportedly good in coverage especially TEs. We should bring him in and have the docs evaluate him. What I would be leary of is having three of our LBs (Merriman, Barnett and Tatupu) all with a history of injuries.
