gjv001 Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I know this is the time of the season where we all should be optimistic for a better team. But the weakest part of last years team ( line backer ) appears to weaker.
Doc Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I know this is the time of the season where we all should be optimistic for a better team. cantankerous Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Because of the loss of Poz, who was solid but unspectacular and didn't like playing in the 3-4? Yes. Lol.
808 Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 moats at ILB has me curious........ has me bummed. lets take a nice promising pass rusher and let some TEs run past him and make him try and guard reggie bush............8|
Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Going into last season the starting LBs were Torbor-Davis-Poz-Kelsay. Now they're likely Merriman-Davis-Torbor-Kelsay. With Sheppard and Moats perhaps making an impact on that lineup. Plus Davis was hurt the majority of last year. Seems basically the same if not better to me.
billsfaninvgs Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I am willing to bet they sign another LBer. I think Crowder will get a sniff. I want Tulloch or Rudd. All three are better than Torber. What the HELL is taking Shepard so long to sign. It cant be that hard... Really cant. He gets more money than Searcy and less than Williams. Simple as that.
Thunderstealer Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 No way dude, we got lights out..... The first time he does the L/O dance at The Ralph, it's gonna seem just weird. But we'll catch on! Go New Bills!
Defend Greece Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I would feel much better Coleman moats sheppard merriman
808 Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 moats-shep-davis-merriman would be cool but putting so much weight on a rookie LB in shep is a bit much
Pirate Angel Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I know this is the time of the season where we all should be optimistic for a better team. But the weakest part of last years team ( line backer ) appears to weaker. Poz out of the lineup and Merriman in the lineup with another year experience on Moats and some solid Draftees like Sheppard, not to mention the promising Danny Batton returning. Andre Davis is a solid vet returning to the system. Stroud out from in from of them and Dareus in....Its not weaker, I like Poz but he plays linebacker like a safety drifting around making tackles downfield
Defend Greece Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 moats-shep-davis-merriman would be cool but putting so much weight on a rookie LB in shep is a bit much Dude have u seen kelsays twin brother torbor? Go with the rook
thebug Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 All of our LB's are better this year because of DAREUS. Hey, Dare Us will make a cool sign. Dare us to come into your backfield. GO BILLS!
bills1960 Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Is it possible that the Bills are targeting a free agent OLB like Manny Lawson so the want to move Moats inside for the time being so he can learn both positions? Pure speculation.
3rdand12 Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I am worried about our situation at line backer myself. Fine that Poz was better suited for 4-3. i hope he does well. good guy. But we should have grabbed somebody! Till we develop our draft picks, at least.
billnutinphoenix Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 has me bummed. lets take a nice promising pass rusher and let some TEs run past him and make him try and guard reggie bush............8| This is the kind of thing that can get George Edwards fired...
Cub Reporter Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I don't know why people are so nervous about our LB's. We only lost Poz, and to be honest I never liked Poz. He could never stay healthy anyways. I personally can't wait to see Kelvin Sheppard, they make him sound like a Ray Lewis because of the emotion he plays with. Also I'm curious to see Arthur Moats at ILB. I also heard that the Bills moved Torbor to ILB.
djsabres Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Ahhh remember the days of Biscut,Tally,Paup,Fletcher,Spikes.
