Scrappy Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I can see our draft filling in a few vital spots versus spending big money in FA but it's a huge gamble, except for Dareus (I think he'll be great) 1st Round (3) – Marcel Dareus (DL, Alabama) <------------ He's is "The One" 2nd Round (34) – Aaron Williams (DB, Texas) <------------ Bye Bye Donte 3rd Round (68) – Kelvin Sheppard (LB, LSU) <------------ He could be "The One" 4th Round (100) – Da’Norris Search (DB, North Carolina) <----------- BPA 4th Round (122) – Chris Hairston (OL, Clemson) <------------ Drafted for need 5th Round (133) – Johnny White (RB, North Carolina) <----------- Practice Squad candidate 6th Round (169) – Chris White (LB, Mississippi State) <------------ Not too sure here 7th Round (206) – Justin Rogers (DB, Richmond) <------------ Good luck 7th Round (245) – Michael Jasper (DT, Bethel) <------------ I'm the Juggernaut B****
PromoTheRobot Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 That's about all we have left to hope for. Free Agency is not over yet but so far it's been a disappointment. PTR

PTR I'm trying to turn towards the brightside here because of other disappointments, I'll slowly turn as the season gets closer. Hopefully we can pick up some good news about some of the draftees being incredibly gifted beyond their years, that'd be a nice suprise.
Scrappy Posted July 30, 2011 Author Posted July 30, 2011 The thread title is true for every team. True but that's our only way of obtaining potential new talent, unlike other teams that will spend ~$8 M-$12 M a season on one player in FA.
Mr_Blizzard Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 The team looks better on paper... Lots of unknowns here; I still think the offense has missing pieces, and I'm not talking about the QB position.
