I'm wondering if the only reason maybin would make this team is the fact that his salary would help ralph get closer to the spending limit for the cap this year?? Just a thought.

Ralph has been accused of being cheap....but never senile........wait a minute

There is no cap floor until 2013. I think maybin gets the axe this year

I wanted Orakpo. Two years later, it still hurts.

I sat there on draft day, SCREAMING at the TV telling the bills to get Orakpo

first round selections are treasures....provided you get them right. Maybin is a major fail.....and the hindsight (or forsight for you and others) makes it all the more painful.

So would cutting him and signing a better player for the same kind of crazy money we were paying him.

Really he is only a major fail at the defensive system employed to date. Transitioning to a different position or scheme can add a year to development. With the Bills finally having a solid gut apparently, the out side defenders with speed will create mis-matches. Will Maybin Succeed? He is a superb athlete, and he has a chance.... it depends a lot on how this "hybrid" defense actually is used.
