bills_red Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 $13 Million a season would make him a Buffalo Bills player, no way that ATL would even come close to that. It's double the average salary for a RT. Yes we need a RT but $13 per yr. wow, I don't like that at all max I'd go is $9 and thats a nice deal for Clabo no way ATL goes that high imo.

billsfaninvgs Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 $13 MILLION A YEAR!!!!!! holy crap!!!!! What's taking so long then.... $13 MILLION A YEAR!!!!!! holy crap!!!!! What's taking so long then....
bills_red Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 (edited) POZ was not a probowler, broke like glass & what did he bring ? He got to the prowbowl by Peters not going so he was a back-up probowler. ans poz got 7 per and JAC overpaid for him. 13 per yr. is what top 5 LTs get not top 10 Rts. The top LT in FA this year D.Free got 8 mill per yr. If we pay Clabo 13 per I'll be pissed we didn't offer Free a deal in that range. Edited July 28, 2011 by bills_red

Frez Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Is the 13 million a year confirmed? Nothing at all has been confirmed.
Rob's House Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 $13 million/yr for Clabo is obscene. That can't be right.
bills_red Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 We had 0 probowlers on our O-line, until now. If we give him 13 per we overpaid HUGE. Don't get me wrong i like him just not 13 mill like.
bills1960 Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 The longer this takes, the less confident I feel about this. If we truly offered him that much, but he still hasn't signed, we definitely have a problem.
Mark Long Beach Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Is the 13 million a year confirmed? Nope. Haven't seen that number anywhere until just a moment ago in this thread. Dunno where that came from. He would already have signed or his agent would have shot him if true. I bet is still around 8m. 9 if we overpay him.

billnutinphoenix Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 not looking good....if he wanted to play for Buffalo, he would have signed already....
billsfaninvgs Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 8 dollar beers at the Ralph this year! How much are beers at the Ralph? I pay $6-7 a beer at UNLV for football and Basketball...
JimBob2232 Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 I just dont get you people...New CBA says we HAVE to spend the cap. If we dont, we STILL spend the money. Use it or lose it. If you have to overpay to use it, so be it.
QCity Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 $13 million/yr for Clabo is obscene. That can't be right. It's not right, some idiot in this thread plucked that number out of his head.
Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 It's not right, some idiot in this thread plucked that number out of his head. Right, highest per year paid NFL tackle is Peters @ $10M per. $13M seems excessive.
Koufax Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 not looking good....if he wanted to play for Buffalo, he would have signed already.... Not at all. We are waiting for the Falcons to match because at same dollars he stays. So out of Bills and Clabo's hands, and he is not going to sign until he gives Atlanta a last chance to match whatever it is. I think this probably isn't going to be decided in the next hour or two, and might have to wait some more.
