FluffHead Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 @JasonLaCanfora reports on twitter Tyson Clabo drawing interest from ATL, BUF and SEA
BillsGuyInMalta Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 When the Bills fail to sign him, get ready for another Wall flare-up.
Chandler#81 Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Hopefully the herd will at least be sated that we're trying to address a position of what the herd believes is a need. -Also a player regularly frothed over on the wall. Best wishes Buddy!
Rockinon Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 (edited) Now that would make a big splash. I mean literally....a big splash. Apparently though, Atlanta is trying real hard to retain him. Edited July 27, 2011 by Rockinon
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I have learned to tune out optimimism regarding good players at a position of need for us. Tell me when he signs with us, then I'l get interested.
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 When the Bills fail to sign him, get ready for another Wall flare-up. But for right now, we're happy just to hear it. Pitchforks are easy to find for later
BuffaloBaumer Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Throw the entire 35 Mill at him if you have to....
Cash Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I'm just glad we're interested. Trying and failing is a lot more noble than sitting at home hoping the stars align (i.e., The Erik Pears Project).
billsfan89 Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Good player for the Bills to be interested in. Although I am not sure if they can sign him its good to see them going after a top tier guy at one of their greatest needs.
CSBill Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Who would be the better RT, Clabo or Colon? Either would be an upgrade . . . although Clabo is younger and thus would have more value But we're the Bills, we can't be choosey
bourbonboy Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Rotoworld's take: The Falcons are reportedly competing against the Bills and Seahawks for free agent RT Tyson Clabo. Seattle is looking for one veteran offensive lineman as insurance at guard and right tackle. They're also in on OG Robert Gallery, but will sign just one of the two. It's a pleasant surprise to hear the Bills involved, as they have seemed satisfied with below-average tackle play the past couple of seasons.
Armchair GM Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 @JasonLaCanfora reports on twitter Tyson Clabo drawing interest from ATL, BUF and SEA Make him the highest paid RT in the NFL! He could be a fixture on the right side of our line for the next 8-10 years. This signing alone would mak FA a success for the Bills.
Saint Doug Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 This is just a ploy engineered by Russ Brandon to show, despite what Nix has stated publicly, that the Bills are at least trying to become more competitive. We have seen this stunt before.
bills_red Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Either would be an upgrade . . . although Clabo is younger and thus would have more value But we're the Bills, we can't be choosey Clabo is 29 Colon is 28
thebandit27 Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Not sure if we'll get him, as I don't see why he'd leave Atlanta...but, this is exactly the kind of guy I'd like to see at RT. Mean, tough, technically sound, experienced. I think he'd round out the front 5 nicely.
Van_phelaN1 Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 But for right now, we're happy just to hear it. Pitchforks are easy to find for later You have to FIND yours?? Um, in the Bills fan manual it says to always have it strapped to your back in case of emergency. Slacker!

Astrobot Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 This is just a ploy engineered by Russ Brandon to show, despite what Nix has stated publicly, that the Bills are at least trying to become more competitive. We have seen this stunt before. This strategy is backfiring big time. We have already lost two UDFA's to other teams before the signing date.
