FluffHead Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 three year deal per @omarkelly of the Sun Sentinel: "Tyler Thigpen has agreed to terms on a three year deal with Buffalo. He's reuniting with Chan Gailey, his former OC in Kansas City."
bills1960 Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Okay solid move that I saw coming. That fills one of many voids.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I like it. You can never assume a healthy season for any QB, and we know Thigpen and Gailey are on the same page with one another.
beerme1 Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I thought Buddy was napping or slapping knees or something?
Jim in Anchorage Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Excellent. Back up QB handled, no more V Young talk.
boyst Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Excellent. Back up QB handled, no more V Young talk. We still need RT...don't give up hope.
Just Jack Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 We still need RT...don't give up hope. Vince Young can play RT? Cool!
boyst Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Vince Young can play RT? Cool! You wouldn't give him a shot? I seriously would, he is quick, he's athletic, and maybe you could get him at a decent price...?
nodnarb Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Had to know it was coming considering his success with Gailey in KC. We needed a proven backup, and we got one. Those who wanted to hire a basket case kid like Vince Young...I don't understand it.
BillsObserver Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I like the move. Perfect back-up to my boy Fitzy.
PNW_Bills_Fan Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 three year deal per @omarkelly of the Sun Sentinel: "Tyler Thigpen has agreed to terms on a three year deal with Buffalo. He's reuniting with Chan Gailey, his former OC in Kansas City." I think this was expected if true.
It's in My Blood Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 three year deal per @omarkelly of the Sun Sentinel: "Tyler Thigpen has agreed to terms on a three year deal with Buffalo. He's reuniting with Chan Gailey, his former OC in Kansas City." Very smart and expected signing. If Fitz goes down or lays an egg, at least Thigpen and Chan are already familiar with each other and Chan knows what he can do with him. Love this signing.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 You wouldn't give him a shot? I seriously would, he is quick, he's athletic, and maybe you could get him at a decent price...? Duh! They just signed a quarterback, seriously.
G-Daddy Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Can he play linebacker so we don't have to replace Poz?
